The Fragrance Of Beauty

For the Christian woman, beauty is less about your appearance and more about inner beauty. The author talks about how fear can destroy a woman’s appearance. Self-esteem issues, depression, and ambivalence are hurting your looks. I doubt this is a news flash for anyone. However, if you do basics of face cleaning and light foundations, you can improve your outer self. I have a feeling this an early Christian version of the “fake it until you make it” school of thought.
Even given the time, I am still disappointed that women have to be a certain way in order to be happy. I guess everyone is okay with their genuine self as long as it fits into the picture of how women are supposed to behave.

I find this book offensive to cat lovers, whether the cats are green-eyed or not. And why would the author describe fear as a roaring lion when lions are normally associated with bravery? 🙂
Because the brave roaring lion is comin’ to getcha!
I found that odd, since “roaring lion” was used as an epithet of the Devil in my experience.
