Boss Lady
Foxworth
1978
Ladies, this is your guide to climbing the ladder in business. It is mostly about projecting the right image and navigating overly personal or invasive questions from co-workers. There is also a lot about how to be approachable and non threatening. We also had one of Foxworth’s later books on our site. I would like to say that this advice should be obsolete, but maybe it isn’t.

P.S. You can read a quick bio on Foxworth here.
Not only is far too much of this still pertinent, a lot of it is also why I specifically chose a non-executive career path. *makes a note of title for future use*
The “litter-basket school of fashion”? I object — we put a great deal of thought and care, not to mention creativity, in our attire in the 1960s.
No feminists committing a nuisance on the rug? (see previous title by author)
what was so bad about the sixties?
I’m sure this would make for cringe worthy reading – thank you for sharing!
