The Unhappy Gays

The Unhappy Gays
What Everyone Should Know about Homosexuality

Most of you should be familiar with Tim LaHaye, author of the Left Behind series of books. This evangelical Christian minister wrote this in the late 1970s, not so coincidentally at the same time Anita Bryant was openly criticizing the gay liberation movement.  In fact, we featured her treatise on the evils of gay people on this site 2 years ago. LaHaye lavishes praise on Anita’s good works standing up against those militant gays.

I know many of you are wondering why the gays are so unhappy. I thought maybe they were unhappy because this guy (and many others) are trampling over their rights. I guess I am wrong, because the real reasons are the following:

They aren’t “normal.”
They are promiscuous.
They like sex too much.
“Insatiable quest for the erotic.”

Also, you can add things like selfishness, guilt, hostility, and a host of other issues. What causes all of this? Glad you asked.

Smothering mothers
Dominant mothers
Absent/passive fathers
Permissive parents

There is also a formula to make someone gay in the book. (See the fourth picture below) LaHaye has the cure for the wayward gay people. These include attending a bible centered church (no wacky Methodists or crazy Catholics), don’t hang out with gays, do hang out with “nice” Christians. There are a bunch more, but you get the picture.

Weeping for humanity (again still),

Gay and Gray

Gay and Gray - coverGay and Gray: The Older Homosexual Man

Submitter: My local library has three copies of this outdated book in its system. A great addition to a public library in 1982. Unfortunately, the data in this book, some from previous publication in 1961 and 1964, are woefully out of date. This book doesn’t even cover the AIDS crisis. It’s makes me sad to think that many of the men this book was target to, might not have survived the 1980s.

Holly: The survey is definitely too old to be of use, and the authors admit that they only got answers from older white men. The whole thing could be re-done with entirely different responses in 2015! It was a huge year for gays of all ages, people! This is mostly useless to most public libraries. I can’t imagine why three copies are necessary!

You can “fix” your gay kids

Gay Children Straight ParentsGay Children, Straight Parents
A plan for family healing

I am sure all of you remember our post Gayness Explained. You know, so the kids will understand that gayness is caused by parents fighting and sexual abuse.  Well, this book is for the adults. Cohen has provided a “step by step plan” to get rid of all that gay stuff.

Best part are some of the reasons kids suffer from “Same Sex Attachment Disorder”:

-Parents who fight
-Sexual abuse
-Being teased about liking “girly” stuff (if you are a guy)
-Bad fathers

This is beyond awful.
