Preserving Special Education for Those Who Need It

Special Educator’s Guide to Regular Education

Submitter: These are books 2 and 3 in a series that also included Preventing Special Education for Those Who Don’t Need It. The jacket flap says they were bestsellers, but that was in the mid-80’s. While debates about labeling too many kids, who should be mainstreamed, and what’s the best way to provide services to children are still hot issues, there are many more relevant titles to today’s educational landscape. It’s an entirely new generation of children with special needs, they deserve books written in their lifetime.

Holly: Agree.  Well said.
