Submitter: This book had a crazy layout and after 27 years, I think it out of date.  But enjoy the scans!

Holly: Great choice for a public library, but I have to agree that it’s a bit outdated. I’m not a fan of the format either. I don’t know where to look first! Also, I think the lady on the cover’s answer is just hold your face like she is to avoid sagging. Sort of DIY face lift?

    1. Yeah, when I saw that “What do they have in common?” question, my first thought was, “They’re all dead.” Then I realized that perhaps a few of them are still around.

      1. If it were a list of men over 60 from 1989, they’d all be dead. Since it’s women, there’s a few survivors (Queen Elizabeth, Barbara Bush, Gloria Vanderbilt).

  1. What did the listed ladies have in common? They all – but one – had far more money than I do!
(The exception, of course, being the recently canonised Mother Teresa, who, as far as I know, was far too busy being a living saint to bother with beauty tips!)
