Beauty Begins at Sixty : The Best is Yet to Come : a New Age beauty and Health Workbook for the Dynamic New Time of Your Life
Linder and Flynn
1989
Submitter: This book had a crazy layout and after 27 years, I think it out of date. But enjoy the scans!
Holly: Great choice for a public library, but I have to agree that it’s a bit outdated. I’m not a fan of the format either. I don’t know where to look first! Also, I think the lady on the cover’s answer is just hold your face like she is to avoid sagging. Sort of DIY face lift?

It’s like 90% sidebar.
Perfect description!
It’s designed to be read during short bathroom breaks. Not that it makes any more sense.
I think most of the people in the over 60 list are now in the over 90 list or dead.
Yeah, when I saw that “What do they have in common?” question, my first thought was, “They’re all dead.” Then I realized that perhaps a few of them are still around.
If it were a list of men over 60 from 1989, they’d all be dead. Since it’s women, there’s a few survivors (Queen Elizabeth, Barbara Bush, Gloria Vanderbilt).
The guide to calories from fat is probably outdated as well.
So there is hope for me!
What did the listed ladies have in common? They all – but one – had far more money than I do!
(The exception, of course, being the recently canonised Mother Teresa, who, as far as I know, was far too busy being a living saint to bother with beauty tips!)
Huh. Interesting. The layout is really out of date, but a lot of the beauty tips are the same. Makes me wonder.
