You’re Either One or the Other

I guess transgender doesn’t make the cut. Anyway, we have another lovely special book containing over a 100 pages of exciting pages about gender stereotypes. We have featured many of these books and I keep thinking they are gone and then one shows up and makes me cringe. This is no exception. Page after page (after page) of people challenging gender stereotypes. Examples: a man cares for children (gasp!) and a woman uses tools (double gasp!).
The real problem with this book is no story or context and bad illustrations. I also absolutely despise this format of one or two words on a page. What’s the point?
