Judith Briles’ Money Guide for Christian Women
Briles
1991
I am all for money education, particularly for women. Although I am not a big fan of religious overtones in financial planning information, many in my library population would absolutely want something like this title. For 1991, this information was good and encouraged women to assert themselves with respect to money. Briles has a long book list and her material is certainly collection worthy. Lets just get something more current.

I’m a bit concerned that the list of topics in a book about money for Christians does not mention giving at all.
Although it is not a headline on the jacket, she does mention it in the book.
Good – it did seem rather odd…
I’m slightly intrigued: how is Christian money management different that “normal” money management?
I’m sure tithing will be mentioned in there somewhere.
I’d have thought that ethical investing would be bigger.
The back cover actually sounds quite sensible. I’m puzzled as to what difference religion would make to saving and spending wisely.
